2025 Fall WildFire Retreat: 20th Anniversary Extravaganza! –

WildFire is the East Coast's premier flow and fire arts training event!

WildFire's Mission is to:

Spread the spinning arts and build community among spinning artists.

WildFire Retreat is situated on a picturesque campground in Ashford, Connecticut and offers a diverse selection of workshops on poi, hoop, staves, dance, teaching, fire safety, performance -- and so much more!

With a participation-based, skill-share philosophy, this event is as much for aspiring beginners looking to try something totally new as it is for established spinners looking to level up and build their network.

The retreat is open Friday at 3:00 PM to Monday at 12:00 PM, with classes all day Saturday and Sunday.

All attendees are expected to volunteer at least 5 hours of time at the retreat. It's a great way to meet people, participate, and allows us to keep ticket prices low!

WildFire Retreat Tickets

Your General Admission ticket to WildFire Retreat includes the following:

  • Flow arts workshops on Saturday and Sunday, of all varieties and difficulty levels.
  • Saturday night showcase performances.
  • Nighttime fire spinning with great music spun by DJs.
  • MEALS INCLUDED FRIDAY EVENING, SATURDAY, SUNDAY, AND MONDAY MORNING
    ** Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and snacks (including vegan, vegetarian and allergy-sensitive options).
  • A complimentary fire safety blanket (duvetyne), and fire prop safety training.
  • Tent camping on a beautiful, forested 1200-acre Scout Reservation.
  • Bathrooms with flush toilets & hot showers!
  • Access to a gorgeous lake for swimming, with a beach; and miles of wooded trails.
